Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2020/2021 Gotta Dance season – our 20th! At the beginning of each month a newsletter will be emailed to each family. Please look for these newsletters as they will contain very important information every month. We ask that all parents and students read through these newsletters carefully. This is our best source of communication with parents and students on our upcoming events throughout the year. Our newsletters will also be available on our website at www.ksgottadance.com.
To all our new students, WELCOME ABOARD! You are heading into an exciting year and we are happy to have you here at Gotta Dance. To all our returning students, I would like to thank you for a not so normal, but successful 2019/2020 season. Congratulations to those who performed in our in-studio recital performances. You were all wonderful! We have received many positive comments. The 2020 recital performance link will be sent out before the end of the month – if you haven’t paid the recital fee of $15 ($20 per family), you can still pay by check or Venmo to receive the link.
Gotta Dance would like to welcome our 2020/2021 instructors: Karrie Mason (Studio Director), Katrina Rotondi , Jay Newlon, Heather Dinsmore, Cassey Floor, Jessica Dearbeck, Thea Vaporis, Brianna Hogan,Elizabeth Shaw, Alyssa Murnane and our newest instructor, Hannah Jeffers. Instructors bios are available on page five in our Fall Packet and on our website at www.ksgottadance.com. Our front desk receptionists this year may include Pimprenelle Beheaghel, Alyssa Murnane and Hannah Jeffers. Our student teachers and substitutes include Alyssa Murnane, Hannah Jeffers and Pimprenelle Beheaghel and our assistants are Lili Ellis and Alicia Kearney.
Please be sure that you have received the 2020/2021 Gotta Dance Studio Guidelines packet. These have been emailed to everyone. Be sure you have put a current email address on your registration form and contact Heather or Karrie if it changes throughout the year. We also have hard copies available at the studio if anyone would like one. It is very important for you to have this information as you will need to refer to this packet throughout the season regarding our annual performance, costumes, dress codes, snow days, etc. Please take time for you and your child to read through the entire packet. Students must follow the Dress Code listed on page four (please note that some dress codes have slightly changed this year). October tuition is currently due. Gotta Dance accepts cash, checks or payment through Venmo (@Karrie-Mason-3). We also accept credit cards if you would like your tuition automatically withdrawn each month. Please let us know if you are interested in this payment option and you will be sent the authorization form for monthly withdrawals. Invoices will not be given out each month. Tuition can be paid on or before the first class of each month. There will be a $15.00 late fee if tuition is received after the 15th of the month. Tuition can be mailed to the address above or can be brought to class with your child. For your convenience, there is a tuition drop box located in the waiting area at the studio.
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES –Monday, October 26th – Saturday, October 31ststudents may wear their Halloween Costumes (or part of their costumes) to class. Please be sure they can safely dance in these costumes. No full face masks and no costume accessories (wands, crowns, etc.) should be worn. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to give out treats this year.
HALLOWEEN – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST – Gotta Dance WILL CLOSE AT 3:00 pm.
Gotta Dance WILL CONTINUE TO ENROLL NEW STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE MONTHS OF OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AS WE LOVE YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUPPORT! SOME CLASSES ARE CLOSED BUT MANY CLASSES HAVE A FEW SPOTS AVAILABLE.
COSTUME DEPOSITS will be due in November in the amount of $40.00 per class. Balances will be due in February (costume balances should not exceed $35.00 per class). All costume deposits are non-refundable. Payment plan options are available for students enrolled in 3 or more classes. Please pay costume deposits separate from tuition (checks payable to: Karrie Stang Mason). *Note: Credit card payments are not accepted for costume deposits or balances – cash, checks or Venmo only please.
ANNUAL RECITAL: We are happy to announce that we have planned our 2021 recital to take place on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Collins Center in Andover. Dress rehearsal (mandatory to attend to participate in the recital) will take place on Thursday, June 24th.
REMINDER: Please keep your tuition up to date. All tuition is due on or before your dancer’s first class of each month. Payments can be mailed to the address above or placed in the tuition box located in the waiting room. Statements will not be given out each month.
