March 2021

Dear Parents and Students,

Students are doing a great job with their dance routines and they are working hard in class.  We are very excited for our annual June performance. Costumes will be arriving over the next several weeks if they haven't already. If costume balances have not been paid, they are currently past due. Please be sure that your account is current.  Students will receive their costumes upon arrival once balance is paid in full. When you receive your costume please try it on your child to see if any alterations are needed and hang it somewhere safe to allow wrinkles to fall out.

Detailed information on costumes, shoes, accessories etc. will be enclosed in an upcoming newsletter. Some classes may need to spray paint their shoes a different color to match their costumes. All alterations and spray painting should also be complete before Picture Day. Costumes come in small, medium, and large sizes and are not made to exact order of individual measurements. Everyone should expect slight alterations.

Community Outreach Project: Gotta Dance is doing another community outreach project with The Wish Project for their BITS Bags (Basic Items for Toddler Success) program during February/March! Low income families often are unable to provide their infants and toddlers with age appropriate toys for stimulation. Because of this, these children are at a greater risk for developmental delay. The Wish Project provides these bags filled with age appropriate toys to help avoid developmental delays. Each bag contains: bubbles, sidewalk chalk, coloring book, crayons, book, bubbles, beach ball, rubber duck tub toys, and toys for ages 1-3.

There will be a plastic bin in the waiting area for donations starting February 15th through March 15th.

**If you prefer to shop online and ship directly to The Wish Project, you can check out their amazon wish list for BITS items. Please mention "Gotta Dance" in the memo section, so that they know the donations are coming from a Gotta Dance family:
